Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener Ibrahim Salem sent a message saying: I have fulfilled the obligation of Hajj, and I was a mutamatti'. I would like to perform 'Umrah on behalf of my father and 'Umrah on behalf of my mother. Is this permissible? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Yes, you will be rewarded if you perform 'Umrah on behalf of your father, or if you perform Hajj on behalf of your mother; likewise, you will be rewarded if you perform Hajj on behalf of your father or 'Umrah on behalf of your father, provided they are deceased or unable to perform it due to old age. You will be rewarded in any case. If you perform 'Umrah for yourself and then perform 'Umrah on their behalf, all of that is good. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
