The ruling on one who does not pray Fajr except late

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
From Riyadh, sent by the listener (Fahd F.), he asks and says: A person set an alarm clock for the Fajr prayer and instructed his family, but he did not pray except late because sleep overcame him. What is the ruling on that, and what is his ruling if that happens to him frequently?

Answer:
If that was imposed upon him and he did not cause it, then there is no blame on him, based on the saying of Allah, the Exalted:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[al-Taghābun:16]
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacityلا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا
[al-Baqarah:286]. However, if he is the one who caused it, he stays up, he does not stay up except as one who stays up, even if he set the alarm and even if he tasked them with waking him; he is not excused, because he is the one who caused it. But if he left the mosque after praying 'Isha' and was unable to get up due to reasons that prevented him, such as illness or heavy sleep, despite the presence of means like the alarm and those who wake him, and Allah knows that he is truthful in that, then there is no blame on him. As for deception, it is not permissible, such as setting the alarm, instructing them, and delaying, and not sleeping except as one who stays up, unable to get up; this is a ruse that is not permissible and does not benefit him. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
