Explanation of the Hadith: (Two categories of my Ummah whom I have not seen...)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner asks about the meaning of "clothed yet naked" and who they are. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
It is reported in the hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Two are the types of the denizens of Hell whom I did not see: people having flogs like the tails of the ox with them and they would be beating peopleصنفان من أهل النار لم أرهما: رجال بأيديهم سياط يضربون بها الناس
Sahih Muslim 2128
meaning: unjustly
and the women who would be dressed but appear to be naked, who would be inclined (to evil) and make their husbands incline towards it. Their heads would be like the humps of the bukht camel inclined to one side. They will not enter Paradise and they would not smell its odourونساء كاسيات عاريات مائلات مميلات، رؤوسهن كأسنمة البخت المائلة، لا يدخلن الجنة، ولا يجدن ريحها
Sahih Muslim 2128
the hadith, "women who are clothed yet naked." The scholars explained this to mean that they are clothed in name only, but naked; because the garment is short, or thin. It is called a garment, but it does not cover, either because it is short and insufficient, or because it is thin and transparent. This is the meaning, and they are sinful for this.
And likewise his saying:
leaning and causing others to leanمائلات مميلات
"leaning away from the truth, from modesty, and inclining others toward lewdness and evil." The intended meaning is not the slanted gait, as some people think. No, the intended meaning is that they are leaning away from modesty and uprightness, and inclining others toward falsehood, fornication, and lewd acts. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.

The presenter: O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
