The description of a woman's voice that contains no submission
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He asks Your Eminence, saying: Is a woman's voice an awrah (part of the body that must be covered)?
Answer:
Her voice is not an awrah. The women used to ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and ask the Companions, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not disapprove of that from them. Rather, the awrah is her submission in speech and her coquetry; for the saying of the Exalted: [Al-Ahzab:32].
So what is prescribed for her is that her voice be moderate, with no submission in it and no indecency in it. For this reason, He said: [Al-Ahzab:32].
So it is befitting for the woman to be moderate in her speech, not indecent in her saying, and not submissive [Al-Ahzab:32]. Yes.
The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.

O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet
So what is prescribed for her is that her voice be moderate, with no submission in it and no indecency in it. For this reason, He said:
but speak with appropriate speech.
