Advising a mother to stop cursing her son

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
His last question says: My mother curses me a lot, and I know that—praise be to Allah—I do not disobey her, nor do I fall short in her rights. I am committed to the commands of Allah and performing all the obligatory written duties. Will her curse be answered? What should I do to make her stop these curses, which I am certain are driven by the mother's anger? Please advise us, may Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Pray for her success and guidance. Strive to please her, seek the means that will satisfy her with you, and guard her tongue from abusing you and cursing you. Strive in this, and fear Allah, for the mother has a great right and a high status, and being dutiful to her is among the most important obligations. If you fulfill the obligation, I hope her curse will not harm you; because in that case, the curse is not in its proper place, and it is an error on her part. So you must strive to be dutiful to her and do good to her.
And the fact that she curses you without reason is a sin for her, and it will not harm you—may Allah will it. But you must strive to be dutiful to her, do good to her, and not disobey her in what is right. You must strive for a manner that pleases her, if that manner is permissible by the Shari'ah. Strive for the appropriate manner that she will be satisfied with regarding you. Pray for her in your absence in your prostration, at the end of the prayer, and otherwise. Pray for her guidance and success, and that Allah will guide her so that she guards her tongue from what is not appropriate. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
