The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had many supplications he used to make. Whoever reflects on the hadiths reported from him (peace and blessings be upon him) will know this. Among them: he used to supplicate in prostration, saying:Sahih Muslim 483 He used to make this supplication in his prostration, in the obligatory and voluntary prayers (peace and blessings be upon him). Sahih Muslim 483 And among his supplications (peace and blessings be upon him) was: Riyad as-Salihin 1476.
And among his supplications (peace and blessings be upon him) at the end of the prayer, before he would say the closing salam, was:Sunan Abi Dawud 1509Sahih (Al-Albani).
And among his supplications at the end of the prayer, before he would say the closing salam, was:Sunan an-Nasa'i 5445Sahih (Darussalam) All of this was from his supplications (peace and blessings be upon him). اللهم اغفر لي ذنبي كله، دقه وجله، وأوله وآخره وعلانيته وسرهAllahumm-aghfir li khati'ati, wajahli, wa israfi fi amri, wa ma Anta a'lamu bihi minni. Allahumm-aghfir li jiddi wa hazli, wa khata'i wa 'amdi, wa kullu dhalika 'indi. Allahumm-aghfir li ma qaddamtu wa ma akhkhartu, wa ma asrartu, wa ma a'lantu, wa ma Anta a'lamu bihi minni. اللهم اغفر لي ما قدمت، وما أخرت، وما أسررت وما أعلنت، وما أسرفت، وما أنت أعلم مني، أنت المقدم، وأنت المؤخر لا إله إلا أنتAnd among his supplications at the end of the prayer, before he would say the closing salam, was:
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni, wa a'udhu bika an uradda ila ardhalil-'umuri, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatid-dunya, wa a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabr (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice, and I seek refuge in You from reaching the age of senility, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of this world, and I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave)
اللهم إني أعوذ بك من البخل، وأعوذ بك من الجبن، وأعوذ بك أن أرد إلى أرذل العمر، وأعوذ بك من فتنة الدنيا، وأعوذ بك من عذاب القبرAstaghfirullah! Astaghfirullah! (I beseech Allah for forgiveness, I beseech Allah for forgiveness)
أستغفر الله أستغفر الله أستغفر اللهAnd among his supplications (peace and blessings be upon him) was:
I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your anger, in Your forgiveness from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot praise You enough, You are as You have praised yourself.
اللهم إني أعوذ برضاك من سخطك، وبعفوك من عقوبتك، وأعوذ بك منك لا أحصي ثناء عليك، أنت كما أثنيت على نفسكO Allah, I seek refuge in Thy good pleasure from Thy anger, and in Thy forgiveness from Thy punishment, and I seek refuge in Thy mercy from Thy wrath. I cannot reckon the praise due to Thee. Thou art as Thou hast praised Thyself.
اللهم إني أعوذ برضاك من سخطك، وبمعافاتك من عقوبتك، وأعوذ بك منك لا أحصي ثناءً عليك، أنت كما أثنيت على نفسكHe had many supplications (peace and blessings be upon him). He taught Aisha to say:
Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni (O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me)
اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عنيO Allah, help me in remembering You, in giving You thanks, and worshipping You well.
اللهم أعني على ذكرك، وشكرك، وحسن عبادتكAllahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman kathiran wala yaghfirudhdhunuba illa anta, Faghfirli maghfiratan min indika war-hamni, innaka antalGhafur-Rahim.
اللهم إني ظلمت نفسي ظلمًا كثيرًا، ولا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت؛ فاغفر لي مغفرة من عندك، وارحمني إنك أنت الغفور الرحيمThe presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
