Advice to seek a man who appears upright for the woman who wishes to marry

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The first message in this episode is one that reached the program from South Yemen, and the sender is one of the sisters from there. She says: Umm Ayman, Umm Ayman. We posed four questions to her in a previous episode, and in this episode she has a collection of questions. In one of them, she says: I am a girl committed to the teachings of my religion, and praise be to Allah, and I do not want to marry except a young man who is committed, striving with his self, and striving with his wealth in the path of Allah. However, the people of the village where I live only pray and fast, and they overlook some of the Islamic teachings. I do not deny their faith, for Allah is All-Aware of what is in the breasts. My question is: Should I marry any young man from among them if he proposes to me, or should I reject them because they are sitting idle regarding jihad with the self? Knowing that my family circumstances are harsh, and my material circumstances are likewise, and I do not want to go out to work because all work facilities suffer from the deadly microbe of free mixing of men and women. Take me by the hand to the path of good and guidance. May Allah reward you with good?

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions.
My advice to you, O questioner, is to marry a man whose outward appearance is Islam and uprightness, as long as he prays and his outward appearance is Islam, and you do not know of him anything that necessitates his disbelief in Allah; then marry him. And we ask Allah to rectify the conditions of the Muslims, and to enable the state in your area to commit to Islam and call to it, and to abandon what contradicts Islam.
And you should strive to seek the righteous man, and ask about him, you and your awliya (close friends of Allah), ask the people of good about him. If he is committed to prayer and upright in his religion, then there is nothing wrong with you marrying him. And if he is not perfect, and if he has some deficiency in some sins and bad deeds, as long as he is a Muslim who does not call at graves, and does not seek aid from the dead, and is not a communist, but rather he is a Muslim who does not approve of communism, nor believe in it, nor show loyalty to its people, but rather he is one who prays, fasts, and is upright, then there is nothing wrong for you ... to marry him even if he has some deficiency, such as shaving part of his beard, or smoking, or something similar to these sins that occur from some people. And do not sit like this without a husband. And we ask Allah to make the righteous man easy for you, and to rectify the conditions of everyone, and to guide the state, and to enable it to do what brings Him pleasure, and to guide it until it abandons what contradicts the pure Shari'ah, and until it stands firm upon the religion of Allah, by which its happiness and salvation, and the happiness and salvation of its people, are achieved. We ask Allah for guidance for everyone.

The presenter : O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good.
