Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister is asking about the times when prayer is forbidden?

Answer:
Voluntary prayer, which has no specific cause, is forbidden from the dawn until the sun rises, except for the sunnah of Fajr and the obligatory Fajr prayer, which he prays, and the greeting of the mosque, because it has a cause. Likewise, it is forbidden from after the 'Asr prayer until the sun sets, and likewise when the sun stands still before Dhuhr, when it is at the zenith of the sky until it moves, these are the times of prohibition, three in brief, and five in detail, five:
The first is: from the dawn until the sun rises.
The second is: after it rises until it ascends.
The third is: when it stands in the middle of the sky until it moves, and this is a short time.
The fourth is: after the 'Asr prayer until the sun turns yellow.
The fifth is: when it turns yellow until it sets, all of these are times of prohibition, no voluntary prayer is performed in them, except if one has a cause, such as: the eclipse prayer, the greeting of the mosque, the prayer of tawaf; then there is no harm according to the correct opinion, yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
