Ruling on one who breaks his fast and does not make it up until after three years

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
My mother broke her fast for eighteen days of Ramadan. She was pregnant, and the thirst became severe for her, and she feared for herself, so she broke her fast. Several years passed, and then she made up those days she had broken. Does she owe an expiation, and what is it?
Answer: Yes, she must feed one poor person for every day; because she delayed making up the fast for a long time, if she was able to. But if she was poor and could not afford it, then she owes nothing except repentance and seeking forgiveness for the delay. If she is able, she gives half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) for every day. She gathers it and gives it to some of the poor. If the days are, for example, twenty, she owes ten sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) to give to some of the poor, and so on. Half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) for every day, gathered and given to some of the poor, or a poor household. And praise be to Allah.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
