The ruling on praying immediately after the adhan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was received by the program from one of the female listeners, saying: Your sister in Allah, Su'ad Ahmad. Sister Su'ad sent approximately eleven questions. In one of her questions, she asks: Is it true that it is not permissible to pray except after half an hour from the adhan?

Answer:
It is not true. Once the time enters, prayer is permissible, even if it is only a few minutes later. Once the entry of the time is known: when the sun passes its zenith for the Zuhr prayer, and the shadow of every object becomes equal to its length after the shadow of the zenith, and the 'Asr time enters; when the sun sets, one prays Maghrib; when the red twilight disappears from the west, one prays 'Isha'; when the dawn appears, one prays Fajr. As for specifying half an hour, or a third of an hour, or a quarter of an hour, there is no evidence for this. However, it is prescribed and commanded to be cautious and wait a little after the time until one is reassured and confident that the time has entered. If one is an imam, he should delay until the people gather and follow one another, not rushing. He should delay a quarter of an hour or a third of an hour until the people gather in the mosque. This is prescribed and commanded so that they do not miss the prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was cautious after the adhan and did not rush—(peace and blessings be upon him). So the Sunnah for the believer is to observe the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this regard, in prayer and other matters.
Likewise, a woman should not rush. If she delays a little until she is certain of the time, that is better; because some mu'adhdhins may call early. Some mu'adhdhins do not have the required precision, and their clocks may also be fast. So delaying a quarter of an hour or a third of an hour after the adhan is a precaution for both men and women. For the man who prays alone, such as a sick person, and for the imam so that the people arrive at the mosque and catch up with the prayer; because many people do not stand up to pray until after the adhan. They stand up, perform wudu', and then come.
So it is not befitting for the believer to rush. The person who is alone in his home due to illness should not rush, and the woman likewise should not rush, in order to be certain of the entry of the time and to be cautious regarding this matter. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
