The son's stance regarding his father's harshness toward him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: My father hates me and does not want me to interact with him. He often orders me to be silent and not call him. He is very harsh in his treatment, to the point of repeated beating, which has caused me psychological harm. All of this is because he wants me to be perfectly ideal without any errors, which is impossible, so my punishment was beating, and he has harmed me on many occasions. Will I be undutiful if I leave the house? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
It is obligatory for you to obey your father in what is right and to be polite according to the Islamic etiquette, so that he does not beat you. He is commanded to discipline you until you are upright in good morals. It is prescribed for him to discipline you and teach you. However, if he beats you without right, out of injustice, and you have not done anything that warrants beating, there is no harm in you leaving and departing from the house so that you are safe from this beating. As for if he is sincere with you and beats you because you are late for the congregational prayer, or because you harm your mother or your brothers, or because you do other reprehensible deeds, then he is rewarded. It is obligatory for you to obey and be cautious of the things he has forbidden you, which anger Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He).
As for if his beating of you is injustice on his part with no reasons, there is no harm in you leaving and escaping from him.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
