The ruling on one who intended to travel and combined prayers but did not travel

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
May Allah preserve our father, the Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Abdullah ibn Baz. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. And after that:
When I resolved to travel from the city where I reside, I combined the Maghrib and Isha' prayers without shortening them, at the time of the first prayer. I intended to begin the journey before the time of the second prayer entered, but I was unable to travel until after the Isha' adhan. The question is: Is what I did valid? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.

Answer:
And upon you be peace, and Allah’s mercy and blessings, after that:
You must repeat the Isha' prayer because you prayed it before its time and before you traveled. May Allah guide them all.
And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
