The Reward of the Funeral Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Her third question is: Why is the funeral prayer and accompanying the funeral procession dropped from the woman, and for whom is the reward of the funeral prayer: for the one praying, for the one being prayed for, or for both together, and to what extent?
Answer: The one praying has the reward of the prayer, and the one being prayed for has the supplication. It is hoped that Allah will accept the supplication made for him. So the point is: that the prayer for him is supplication for him, seeking mercy for him, and intercession for him. The prayer is not dropped from the woman; she prays over the funeral. However, she does not accompany it to the graveyards; she does not go out with it to the graveyards. As for praying over it, she prays with the people over the funeral. If she prays over the funeral, she has the reward of the praying men, but she does not follow it to the graveyards.
