Ruling on breaking the fast in Ramadan for one whom fasting harms

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The first message in this episode is from a female citizen (T. M.) from Baghdad, Iraq. Our sister’s message is somewhat long; the summary of it is as follows: She says: As a result of fasting, she suffers from migraines, and the doctor advised her to break her fast so that she would not suffer from paralysis. What is obligatory for her?

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows:
Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said in the clear, revealed Qur'an:
and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other daysوَمَنْ كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ
[al-Baqarah:185] If the questioner is harmed by fasting in her head, meaning she suffers clear harm in her head, then she breaks her fast and makes up the fasts when she is able to do so afterwards. If the doctors determine that this illness occurs permanently due to fasting, then she feeds one poor person for every day, like the old man who is unable to fast and the old woman who is unable to fast.
As for if the illness is expected to end, then she makes up the fasts when she is well, once she is cured of this illness. She makes them up either in the days of winter, or at other times when she sees that she is able to make them up without this illness. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
