The ruling on praying behind someone who does not read well

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
After this, a message was received for the program from the listener: Abdullah Babiker Bashirah from the desert of al-Jahra. Our brother has a question in which he says: I work in the desert with my sponsor, but he is illiterate and has memorized a number of the short surahs, but he does not master their recitation. My question is that he insists on being the imam, while I feel that I am better than him in recitation. So what is your guidance? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
There is no blame on you; pray behind him, and praise be to Allah. If he masters al-Fatihah, then if he does not master al-Fatihah, advise him until someone who masters it is appointed. You and the brothers with you should advise him. But if he masters al-Fatihah, then praise be to Allah, even if he makes some mistakes in the other surahs. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
