Question:
In Surat al-Dhariyat there is a verse that says: [al-Dhariyat:22] And in another surah: [al-Mulk:15] Reconcile these two verses for me, and explain them? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
[al-Dhariyat:22] means: from Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) is the Provider [al-Dhariyat:58] He is the One who provides for His servants and decrees for them what He wills This one profits in his agriculture, in his trade, and in his work, and this one loses a lot, and this one loses a little, so He is the Decider And He is the Enabler, the Guide, and the Provider (Exalted and Majestic is He) so the provision is from Him And He is the One who sends down the rains, and through them come abundant provisions as well And in the earth, good things grow because of the rains, such as fruits, vegetables, crops, and other things, and in it are useful, permissible animals, and other things that benefit people, all of which are from the provision of Allah .
And in the earth as well, seeking provision is done through trade, buying and selling, and the other works that people do in tailoring, in trade, in carpentry, in construction, and in other things, all of these are among the means of provision, but the Provider in the sky is Allah alone Yes.
