The ruling on a woman veiling herself from her sister’s husband with whom she was raised

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister says: I veil myself from my sisters’ husbands except for one with whom I was raised. Is that permissible, especially if he leads the prayer for me and my sisters? Please guide us on this matter? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
You must veil yourself from all of them, including the one who was raised with you. The fact that he was raised with you does not make him a mahram. So you must veil yourself from your sisters’ husbands absolutely, including the one who was raised with you, even if he leads the prayer for you. You veil yourself from him during the prayer, and so it is in all circumstances.
It is also not permissible for you to be in seclusion with him alone; because seclusion is one of the causes of evil. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A man should not be alone with a woman, for Satan is the third of them Even if he was raised with you, even if he is your sister’s husband, or your aunt’s husband, you do not uncover yourself to him, and there is no seclusion with him. Yes.
