Q3 I have heard some people say: It is not permissible for the wife of a maternal uncle to observe hijab
in the presence of his sister’s son. Is this correct?
A3 It is obligatory for a woman to observe hijab in the presence of her husband’s sister’s son; because he is a non-mahram and not one of her mahrams, and there is no validity to what you heard from some people. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
