The ruling on one who has blood fall on his garment during prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: At times, some blood may fall on my clothes while I am in prayer. Do I have to repeat the prayer, and do I have to change my clothes?
Answer:
If it is a few drops, it is excused. But if it is a lot, he must break off the prayer until he changes the garment and washes it. As for a few drops, they are excused, because Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) says: [al-Taghābun:16] ... [al-Baqarah:286] And He says: [al-Hajj:78] So the small amount is excused, whether it is drops of blood, pus, or suppuration; this is excused because Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) has removed hardship from this community. Yes.
