The Ruling on the Friday Prayer for One Who Travels for Recreation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He asks and says: What is your opinion regarding the Friday prayer outside the village or city? Knowing that those who prayed Friday outside the village or city had gone out for recreation, or went on a trip as it is called. And they brought evidence proving the Friday prayer outside the village or city. And we know that the Friday prayer has conditions—as he says—so guide us, may Allah reward you with good?

Answer:
It is obligatory to pray Friday with the Muslims in the cities and villages. As for praying it outside the town on trips for recreation, no, they pray Zuhr. They have to pray Zuhr, not Friday. The Friday prayer is only prayed in cities and villages specifically. This is how the hadiths came from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He did not order the Bedouins around the city, nor the travelers, to pray Friday. And his (peace and blessings be upon him) argument coincided with Friday on the Day of 'Arafah; he did not pray it as Friday, he prayed Zuhr (peace and blessings be upon him). Yes.
