The Ruling on Following One Who Joined the Prayer Late

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In his final questions, this questioner asks: Is it permissible for a follower to pray behind someone who came from behind him? For example, a man who did not catch up with the Maghrib prayer except for one rak'ah, then stood up to complete what remained, and another man came. Does he follow him, or not? And what is the validity of that? May we be rewarded.

Answer:
If he follows him, there is nothing wrong with it. If he prays alone, that is better. If he prays alone, it is better. If he follows the one who joined late and makes him his imam, and when the one who joined late concludes the prayer, he completes what is due on him, then there is no blame on him, if Allah wills, according to the correct view.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, Your Eminence.
