Question:
A message was received by the program from one of the listening brothers. He says: Haydar al-Zubayr Hasan Uthman, residing in Rafha, says: Please explain this hadith to us—may Allah reward you with good—narrated by Jundub ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He who observed the morning prayer (in congregation), he is in fact under the protection of Allah and it never happens that Allah should make a demand in connection with the protection (that He guarantees and should not get it) for when he asks for anything in relation to His protection, he definitely secures it. He then throws him flatly in the Hell-fire.من صلى صلاة الصبح؛ فهو في ذمة الله، فلا يطلبنكم الله من ذمته بشيء، فإنه من يطلبه من ذمته بشيء؛ يدركه، ثم يكبه في نار جهنم
Sahih Muslim 657b
It was narrated by Muslim. And what is the meaning of “Allah will not seek you out from His protection”?

Answer:
The meaning is: Whoever prays the Fajr prayer is in the protection of Allah. That means he is safe, and it is not permissible to transgress against him. Whoever transgresses against him exposes himself to the anger of Allah and to entering the Fire—may Allah keep us safe.
The point here is that the Fajr prayer holds a great status. Whoever is consistent in praying it will be consistent in the other prayers, because it is the heaviest prayer for the hypocrites, along with the Isha prayer. Therefore, being consistent in it and caring for it is evidence of strong faith. Its practitioner is in the protection of Allah, in the safety of Allah, and in the covenant of Allah. It is not permissible for anyone to transgress against him. Whoever transgresses against him, Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) will seek him out from this protection which he betrayed. And when Allah seeks him out, Allah will seize him and throw him into the Fire. May Allah keep us safe.
The point of this is a warning against transgressing against those who pray, and transgressing against the believers, especially those who are consistent in praying the Fajr prayer, for it is evidence of the strength of their faith and their consistency in the remaining prayers. It is not permissible to transgress against them in any form of aggression. May Allah keep us safe. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
