Ruling on the Hajj of one who commits an act of ritual impurity during the Farewell Tawaf

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner, whose name is indicated by the initials (M. M. A.) from Riyadh, says in this question: I hope you will graciously answer my question: Last year I performed the obligatory Hajj, praise and thanks be to Allah. During the Farewell Tawaf, in the seventh lap, my ablution was broken, but I completed the Tawaf. So I ask now: Is my Hajj valid or not? And do I owe an expiation?

Answer:
The Hajj is valid, and you owe a fidyah; because you did not complete the Farewell Tawaf. When you committed an act of ritual impurity in the seventh lap, the Tawaf became invalid, and you did not repeat it. You left without repeating the Tawaf; you owe a sacrificial animal, a slaughter to be performed in Makkah for the poor.
As for if you had repeated the Tawaf, performed ablution, and repeated the Tawaf; then you owe nothing.
As for if you had completed the seventh lap while in a state of ritual impurity, and did not repeat the Tawaf, but rather traveled to your country; then you have erred, and you must repent, and you owe a sacrificial animal to be slaughtered in Makkah for the poor; because you neglected an obligatory duty, which is the Farewell Tawaf. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding it:
None of you should depart until his last visit is to the Houseلا ينفرن أحد منكم حتى يكون آخر عهده بالبيت
He said in the hadith of Ibn Abbas:
The people were commanded (by the Holy Prophet) to perform the last circumambulation round the House, but menstruating women were exempted.أمر الناس أن يكون آخر عهدهم بالبيت، إلا أنه خفف عن المرأة الحائض
Sahih Muslim 1328a
If she is menstruating or in post-natal bleeding, there is no Farewell Tawaf required of her. But as for you, the Farewell Tawaf is required of you. So if you commit an act of ritual impurity during the Tawaf, even in the last lap; the Tawaf becomes invalid, and you must repeat it after performing ablution. So if you traveled and did not repeat it; then you must repent, and you owe a sacrificial animal to be slaughtered in Makkah for the poor. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, O Shaykh.
