Ruling on explaining the Prophetic hadith using colloquial expressions

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is a questioner for the program who says in this question: There is a person who speaks and reads from a book after the 'Isha' adhan until the iqamah for prayer. So when he reads a hadith, he explains some of its words and uses some colloquial expressions, and the people sitting or listening in the mosque may laugh because of this speech, even if that is not his intention; rather, his intention is to make the listeners understand the hadith. Is there anything wrong with that? O Shaykh.

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for what follows: It is prescribed for the teacher and the one who reminds people to clarify to the audience what he intends using clear methods that they understand; because the purpose is to advise them and guide them to good, so he should tell them what they know, just as 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Tell people what they know. Do you love that Allah and His Messenger be lied about?" And it is prescribed for him to avoid words that may make people laugh, and to use other words that clarify the intended meaning without causing laughter, playfulness, or the like of what contradicts what is required in this great station.
The point is: The lecturer, teacher, or preacher should seek out clear words that people know and understand; because the purpose is to admonish them, remind them, make them understand, and call them to good. As for words that may cause laughter or surprise, it is prescribed for him to avoid them.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, O Your Eminence.
