The Wording of the Prayer upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) After the Adhan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In his third question, he asks: Is it permissible to say: "And may Allah send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, and upon his family and his companions, and peace," and this is after the completion of the adhan?

Answer:
The Sunnah is to pray upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) after the adhan: "O Allah, send blessings upon our master," or "O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad," or "upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family..." And if one recites the prescribed prayer in its entirety:
Say: O Allah! Send Your Mercy on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your Mercy on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praise-worthy, the Most Glorious. O Allah! Send Your Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent your Blessings on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praise-worthy, the Most Glorious.
Sahih al-Bukhari 3370
This is more complete. Then he says:
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and this established prayer, grant Muhammad—or grant our Prophet Muhammad—the intercession and the excellence, and raise him to the praiseworthy station that You have promised him, for You do not break Your promise.اللهم رب هذه الدعوة التامة، والصلاة القائمة، آت محمدًا -أو آت نبينا محمدًا- الوسيلة والفضيلة وابعثه مقامًا محمودًا الذي وعدته إنك لا تخلف الميعاد
This was narrated by al-Bukhari in the Sahih without the phrase:
You do not break Your promiseإنك لا تخلف الميعاد
Muwatta Malik 20:132
But this addition was added by al-Bayhaqi with a sound chain of narration.
And if he says: "upon our master," there is no blame on him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked it when he was addressed with it, meaning: "You are our master." And now he is not addressed with this, as he has passed away (peace and blessings be upon him). So now, if one says: "our master Muhammad," there is no blame in that. He is the master of the children of Adam. He said (peace and blessings be upon him):
I am the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Judgement, and I am not boasting.أنا سيد ولد آدم يوم القيامة ولا فخر
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3615Hasan (Darussalam)
He is the best of creation (peace and blessings be upon him). Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, O Shaykh.
