The questioner : These words, O honorable Shaykh, come after prepositions, such as:
and from below you ومن أسفل منكم
[Al-Ahzab 33:10]
,
A mosque founded on righteousness لمسجد أسس على التقوى
[At-Tawbah 9:108]
. What is the reason for the first,
below أسفلَ
, being declined with an open vowel, and
for a mosque لمسجدٌ
with a closed vowel?

The Shaykh : I say to the questioner: learn grammar before you ask this question. As for the Qur'an, read it as it is, whether you know the reason for its grammatical case or not.
And this question that was asked indicates that the man is as far from grammar as the East is from the West, because there is no similarity or comparison between the two verses.
