Ruling on increasing the financial maintenance for some children due to need

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner, Ibrahim Abdul Aziz, has this question. He says: Your Eminence! I have, praise be to Allah, three daughters and a son. The eldest is a daughter who is now sixteen years old. This daughter was born with a disability in her leg, and the doctor performed an operation to amputate her leg and install a device for her to walk on. Praise be to Allah, she is now walking normally. However, is there a sin on us regarding this operation? Second, this daughter needs to replace this device every three or four years, which costs a sum of money. If I set aside a sum of money in the daughter's name so she can replace the device whenever she needs to, would I be unjust to the other sisters?

Answer:
If she is poor, no, this is obligatory. You must provide for her just as you provide for her maintenance. This falls under the category of maintenance, not the category of gifts. So you will be rewarded, and there is no blame on you. If she is poor and in need of it, and she has no money. Yes. Allah is the Helper.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
