Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner says in this question: I hope that the Shaykh will explain this hadith, which means:
There is none of you but has his place written for him in Paradise or in the Hell- Fire.
Sahih al-Bukhari 4945
So we ask you for guidance regarding this hadith?

Answer:
This hadith is authentic, and many hadiths have come with its meaning. Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, has prior knowledge of all created things, so He knows, Exalted is He, the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire, and this has preceded in His knowledge and His writing. Every newborn is written his provision, his lifespan, his deeds, and whether he is wretched or happy, as in the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud and others. However, this writing and this divine decree do not prevent action. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Work, for everyone is facilitated for what he was created.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2136
He addressed them one day, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, and said:
None of you is there but that his place from Paradise and his place from the Fire has been known
. They said: O Messenger of Allah! Then what is the work? -meaning: if our places are known, then what is the work? - He said:
Carry on doing (good) deeds, for everybody will find easy to do such deeds as will lead him to his destined place for which he has been created. So he who is destined to be among the happy (in the Hereafter), will find it easy to do the deeds characteristic of such people, while he who is destined to be among the miserable ones, will find it easy to do the deeds characteristic of such people.
Sahih al-Bukhari 4949
Then he recited the saying of the Exalted:
As for he who gave and feared Allah
and believed in the best ۝ then We will make it easy for him the easy path ۝ and as for he who was stingy and considered himself self-sufficient ۝ and denied the best ۝ then We will make it easy for him the difficult path [Al-Layl:5-10].
The point is that Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, decreed the destinies and commanded obedience to Him and forbade disobedience to Him, and He sent the messengers with this command, and He sent down the books with this command, and He gave the servant intellect and gave him choice and will. So it is obligatory for him to fear Allah, and to hasten and rush to do what Allah has made obligatory upon him, and to leave what Allah has forbidden upon him, and to ask his Lord for help. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
