The place where the servant knows his seat in Paradise or Hellfire

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In this question, this questioner says, Your Eminence Shaykh Abdulaziz: The grave is the first of the abodes of the Hereafter, and in it the questioning of the son of Adam about his Lord, his religion, and the messenger sent to them takes place. After the questioning, it is said to the servant, if he is among the people of Paradise:
Look at your place in the Hell-Fire. Allah has given you a place in Paradise instead of it.انظر إلى مقعدك في النار، أبدلك الله به مقعدًا في الجنة
Sahih al-Bukhari 1338
And if he is among the people of Hellfire, the opposite is said to him. So, does the servant know whether he is among the people of Paradise or among the people of Hellfire?
But Your Eminence, the Quranic verses and Prophetic hadiths that deal with the Day of Resurrection, including the resurrection, the taking of the records, the Reckoning, the Scale, and the Sirat, all indicate that the son of Adam does not know this place in Paradise or in Hellfire except after passing over the Sirat.
We ask Your Eminence to clarify this for us, may you be rewarded.

Answer:
There is no contradiction in all of this. The believer sees his seat in Paradise, so he rejoices in it, and its goodness and its scent reach him. He sees his seat in Hellfire from which Allah has spared him and turned him away, so he is pleased by that. This is for the believer in his grave, and in the Hereafter when he sees his Reckoning and is given his book in his right hand; he proceeds to his abode in Paradise, and praise be to Allah, there is no contradiction. He is given glad tidings of it in the grave, and on the Day of Resurrection, Allah guides him to his abode in Paradise after the completion of the Reckoning and after crossing the Sirat. Allah guides him until he reaches his abode in Paradise. He is more guided to it than to his abode in this world. This is from the mercy of Allah and His making things easy (Exalted and Majestic is He). There is no contradiction. He knows of Paradise by the angels informing him, and likewise what Allah has protected him from in Hellfire. But after the Reckoning and the recompense, and after the Sirat, Allah guides him to his abode in Paradise. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you, O Shaykh.
