Is the tashahhud recited in full before the taslim in voluntary prayers?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister asks and says: Do we recite only the final tashahhud in the sunnah, such as in tarawih, or do we recite both the first and the final tashahhud?

Answer:
Both the first and the final tashahhud are recited in every two rak'ahs. In tarawih and voluntary prayers, the tashahhud is recited, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is sent blessings upon, and one seeks refuge with Allah from four things: from the punishment of Hellfire, from the punishment of the grave, from the trial of life and death, and from the trial of the Dajjal (the false messiah). One asks his Lord for whatever good supplications are easy for him. Seeking refuge with Allah from what he loves is a place for supplication. The tahiyyat is a place for supplication. When one finishes the tashahhud and the sending of blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it is a place for supplication in both obligatory and voluntary prayers. If he supplicates, it is better. So he should strive in supplication. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate and encourage people to supplicate, saying:
Then he may choose any supplication which pleases him and offer it.ثم ليختر من الدعاء أعجبه إليه فيدعو به
Sunan Abi Dawud 968Sahih (Al-Albani)
This is a prescribed sunnah in obligatory and voluntary prayers before one says the taslim. Supplication is also prescribed in prostration. Yes.
