What is the ruling on reciting while listening to Qur'an tapes?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister is also asking about the Noble Qur'an. She says: Is it permissible to recite the Qur'an in a loud voice while listening to tapes of the Noble Qur'an, especially when learning, such that the tape is played and the reciter follows it? And does this contradict the saying of Allah :
So when the Qur'an is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy.وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنصِتُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
[Al-A'raf: 204]?

Answer:
Raising the voice in recitation, if there is a benefit in it, because there are many people listening, so the voice is raised to reach them, this is required. But if raising the voice might disturb the worshippers, or the reciters, no, he lowers his voice, he does not disturb the people. And so with the tape, if he has a tape he is listening to, and he does not raise it to disturb the people, unless the people present wish to hear it, then he raises it so that they benefit from it.
So the point is: that raising the voice with the tape, or with a person, in that he is reciting, if there is a benefit for the people present, that they listen and benefit, then he does it, he raises his voice, or the tape. But if raising the voice is in the presence of people who are praying, or in the presence of people who are busy with things, then no, it should be in another place, or in the presence of people who are reciting, and it distracts them, no, he does not disturb them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to people praying in the mosque, and they were scattered groups, and he said:
Each of you is conversing with Allah, so let not some of you raise his voice over othersكلكم يناجي الله، فلا يجهر بعضكم على بعض
As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 14:26
May Allah send blessings and peace upon him.
So the point is: that the reciter, or the one who has a tape in which there is benefit, or a recitation, does not disturb others, unless the people present wish to hear and benefit, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good. Our sister says: In order to imitate the reciter who is reciting on the tape, and to learn from him the correct method?

The Shaykh: She learns without raising her voice, she listens, she learns, and then when she turns off the tape, she recites as he recited. But raising her voice with him, no, what is prescribed is that she listens. Allah the Exalted says:
So when the Qur'an is recited, then listen to it and pay attentionوَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنصِتُوا
[Al-A'raf: 204] Yes, so she listens to him, and pays attention, then she acts as she heard, she benefits, she listens to the elongated sounds, she elongates the elongated sounds, she benefits from the merged letters with a nasal sound, and those without a nasal sound, and so on, the softened and the emphatic, meaning: she benefits from the tape if the reciter is one to be followed, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good. In the manner of verse by verse, Your Eminence the Shaykh?

The Shaykh: Yes, there is nothing wrong with it.

The presenter: May Allah bless you.
