The Witr prayer is not prayed like the Maghrib prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is there a hadith that states that in the Witr prayer there is a prayer that is prayed like the Maghrib prayer?

Answer:
No, it is not reported. No, it is disliked. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade likening it to the Maghrib prayer. However, one may pray it consecutively—three consecutive rak'ahs—and there is no harm in that. Or one may pray Witr with a single rak'ah—and this is the best—by saying the taslim after two rak'ahs, then coming with one rak'ah. This is the best. And if one prays the three rak'ahs consecutively and does not sit except in the third, there is no harm. But likening it to the Maghrib prayer? No, it is disliked. It is not appropriate.

The presenter: May Allah reward you, O Shaykh.
