Ruling on combining two prayers without an excuse

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener: Amjad Ahmad Maged from the Arab Republic of Egypt says: My job is as a driver, and at times I combine the Dhuhr and Asr prayers. This is because I am compelled to do so, as I work eight or ten hours a day. Is that permissible?

Answer:
You are not permitted to combine while you are a resident. Rather, you must pray with the people, every prayer in its time.
As for when you are traveling on a road to one of the towns, traveling, then you may combine like other travelers. But as long as you are in the town, between your home and your place of work, you are not permitted to combine. Rather, you must pray with the people. You are not permitted to obey others in disobedience to Allah. Rather, pray Dhuhr with the people in congregation, and Asr in congregation, and do not combine. Likewise, Maghrib and Isha if the work is at night, pray with the people. Yes. And your companions—your associates—must pray in congregation, and it is not permissible for them to pray combined. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
