The ruling on placing flowers on the bier and raising the voice in glorification during the funeral procession

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
They also place flowers on the bier while carrying the deceased to the cemetery, and they say loudly: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, and Allahu Akbar?

Answer:
All of this has no basis. Placing flowers on the bier, and on the deceased, all of this has no basis. The Sunnah is to perfume him; after he is washed, he is perfumed and shrouded. This is the Sunnah. As for throwing flowers or perfumes on the bier, or the like, this has no basis.
Likewise, raising the voice in tasbih, or tahlil, or tahmid, or takbir has no basis. Rather, the Sunnah in this situation is to lower the voice, to focus on self-accounting, and to reflect on death and what comes after it, so that one prepares for this great matter that has befallen this person present. What has befallen him will befall others. So the Sunnah is to lower voices in this state with the funerals, and not to raise voices with the funeral while walking with it to the prayer, or to the burial. As for what some people do: "Glorify Him," or "Declare His Oneness," or "Remember Allah"; this has no basis. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
