The Ruling on Zakah on the Monthly Salary

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
One of the listening brothers, who indicated his name with the letters (A. M.), says in a question that may contain some oddity: What is the zakah on the monthly salary if I do not save anything from it, and I spend it in the lawful manner?

Answer:
If nothing remains from the salary, but it is spent at the time it is received, then there is no zakah on it. However, if something remains until the lunar year has passed, then it is subject to zakah, provided it reaches the nisab... it is subject to zakah. It is two and a half percent for every one hundred, and twenty-five for every one thousand. As for if the salary is spent at the time it is received and nothing remains, then there is no zakah on it. Praise be to Allah. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
