The ruling on praying in a mosque adjacent to graves

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener is Abdullah Muhammad Sa'id. His message included several questions, one of which states: There is a mosque where the prayers, Jumu'ah, and the festivals are performed, and there are a number of graves around it. What is your guidance regarding this mosque? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Their presence around it does not harm it, whether they are in front of it, to its right, or to its left; it does not harm... What is prohibited is for them to be inside it. As for if they are outside, that does not harm it, nor does it harm the worshippers, provided there is a barrier between them and the graves, such as a wall that separates them, or a road, or a valley, or something similar that indicates their distance and that they are not intended as part of the existing mosque. The point is that their presence near the mosque does not harm the mosque, nor does it harm the worshippers. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
