The days on which fasting is recommended

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: I hope you will mention the days on which fasting is recommended, voluntary fasting. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
It is recommended for the Muslim man and woman to fast on Mondays and Thursdays, if that is feasible. If she has a husband, she must have his permission. It is also recommended to fast six days of Shawwal after the first festival of breaking the fast. It is also recommended to fast the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, if that is feasible, from the first day to the ninth, for anyone other than the pilgrim. As for the pilgrim, he does not fast on the ninth day, which is the Day of 'Arafah.
If he fasts one day and breaks the fast the next day, this is the best of fasting: fasting one day and breaking the fast the next. This is the best of fasting. It is recommended to fast three days of every month. If they are the white days, that is better: the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth. These are the best. If he fasts them on days other than the white days, there is nothing wrong with it. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
