The Time for Fasting the Six Days of Shawwal

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If I break the fast of the six days of Shawwal, and then I want to fast them in the same month, when does it start? Is there a specific date?

Answer:
All of Shawwal is a place for fasting, and the best is to hasten. The best is to hasten with them before obstacles arise, whether consecutively or separately. If one fasts them at the end of the month, or in the middle of it, there is no harm. The matter is broad. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He who observed the fast of Ramadan and then followed it with six (fasts) of Shawwal. it would be as if he fasted perpetually.من صام رمضان، ثم أتبعه ستًا من شوال؛ كان كصيام الدهر
Sahih Muslim 1164a
and he did not specify its beginning, its middle, or its end—(peace and blessings be upon him). But hastening is better; due to the saying of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) regarding Musa:
and I hastened to You, my Lord, that You be pleased."وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَى
[Ta-Ha:84], and due to His saying (Mighty and Majestic):
And hasten to the forgiveness of your Lordوَسَارِعُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ
[Al-Imran:133]. His saying (Exalted and Majestic is He):
So race to do good deedsفَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ
[Al-Baqarah:148]. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
