Advice for those who wish to go to hair salons

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
From Doha, Qatar, the listening sister (A. G. A.) sent her message containing four questions. In one of her questions, she asks: What is the ruling on women going to a hair salon, or the "coiffeur" as they call it, knowing that these places are entered by no one but women? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
My advice is that they should not go there, and that these places should be closed down; because there is a fear of evil and fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) in them, and the claim of ....... doing things that are not needed. The woman—praise be to Allah—can learn everything she needs at home with her mother, or her sisters, or her friends. It is not permissible to go to extremes .... Hair styling is well known, and so is the twisting of headscarves. There is no need for these places that people have innovated, for there may be fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) or evil in them. Yes, they should be avoided.

The presenter: This is confirmed, Your Eminence the Shaykh. May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh: This is what has reached us. We have been informed that there is no good in them, and they should be avoided. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
