Is it permissible for sons to wash their deceased mother?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
May Allah preserve you. This questioner says in this question, the questioner from Yemen, Ahmad 'Abdullah: A woman died, and there is no washing place in the village to wash her, and her husband had also died before her. The question is: Is it permissible for her children to perform the washing of her body?

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon whoever follows his guidance. As for what follows:
If a woman dies and no woman is found to wash her, then she is to be given tayammum. Her sons perform tayammum for her with dust on her face and her hands, and this suffices with the intention of washing the deceased. They are not permitted to look at her 'awrah (nakedness) or to wash her. If a woman is found to wash her, praise be to Allah. If no one is found, then she is to be given tayammum. However, generally, as long as she is in the village, if they seek, they will find someone. But if it happens that they do not find anyone, then she is to be given tayammum. Her sons perform tayammum for her with pure dust on the face and hands with the intention of washing for janabah (major ritual impurity), washing for death, with the intention of washing the deceased, and this suffices.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
