Ruling on missing the congregational prayer due to sleep

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is sleep considered an excuse for missing the congregational prayer, or for delaying it such that its time does not end, especially if a person is exhausted from a specific job, given the hadith:
Whoever sleeps through a prayer, or forgets itمن نام عن صلاة، أو نسيها
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36:48
and the hadith:
The pen has been lifted from threeرفع القلم عن ثلاثة
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1423Hasan (Darussalam)
— which mentions among others — the sleeper? Or is it obligatory to wake the sleeper at the beginning of the prayer time? Or is it permissible to delay it, provided the time does not end? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If he is excused, meaning: he did the causes, he exerted himself, but sleep overcame him, then there is no harm, just as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever sleeps through a prayer, or forgets it, let him pray it when he remembers itمن نام عن الصلاة، أو نسيها فليصلها إذا ذكرها
And this happened to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) several times during travel; they slept through the prayer, and when they woke up, they made it up. But with caution, such that he sets an alarm for the prayer time, or some of his family wake him up. He should not stay up late, but rather sleep early. That is, he must engage in the causes that help him get up. If he is overcome and the causes do not benefit him, he is excused.
As for being lax, staying up all night, and then saying: "I will get up," this is the one who is negligent. He is the one who engaged in the causes of not getting up, so he is sinful, until he does the lawful causes, such as not staying up late, and all the things that help him with that, or some of his family who wake him up.
The point is: it is necessary to engage in the causes. If he engages in the lawful causes, exerts himself, and then sleep overcomes him, he is excused. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
