Signs of the Sorcerer, the Fortune-Teller, and Others

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner, Muhammad (and) says: What are the signs by which the sorcerer, the fortune-teller, and the conjurer are known?

Answer:
They are known by the false words they say and the false deeds they perform. They are known by their false claims that contradict the Shari'ah. This is an apparent sign, meaning that the conjurer, the fortune-teller, the one who reads the stars, the astrologer, and the sorcerer are known by the deeds they perform. Each one is known by his deed. So the one who claims knowledge of the unseen, or claims things that have no basis, these are signs that he uses the jinn and seeks the help of the jinn, or that he is a liar who lies to people to eat their money.
Likewise, the one who uses things that harm people, it is obligatory for his case to be referred to the competent authority, such as the committee or the court; because he may be practicing sorcery, or he may be doing things that harm people without knowledge, due to his ignorance and lack of insight.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
