The Ruling on Mentioning Stories of Bad Endings for the Purpose of Caution

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Mentioning stories of bad endings for the purpose of caution?

Answer:
In any case, it is obligatory to be cautious of a bad ending. We ask Allah for safety. Sins and laxity are among the causes of a bad ending. Good deeds and doing much good are among the causes of a good ending. Negligence and following one’s desires are among the causes of a bad ending. We seek refuge in Allah. Steadfastness in obedience to Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and hastening to good deeds, are among the causes of a good ending.
