What does one do if he suspects he has been struck by the evil eye or something similar?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If a person is struck by the evil eye and does not know who struck him, what is the treatment?

Answer:
And how does he know that he has been struck by the evil eye?
Q: For example, sometimes there is tightness in the chest?
A: One should not assume that everything is the evil eye; it may be internal diseases other than the evil eye. But if a person suspects it, he should ask the one who struck him to wash his face and hands, or to perform wudu for his face, palms, and the tips of his feet, as mentioned in the hadith, and then to spit with that water, if that is possible for him.
Q: Some people, for example, say: this is a jinn, meaning he was struck by a jinn?
A: People have many suspicions that have no authority. This one suspects a "jinn," this one suspects "sorcery," and this one suspects a "jinn." People are confused in these matters.
Q: So, is ruqyah sufficient?
A: Ruqyah is sufficient for everything, except for the evil eye or a fever.
