The Legitimacy of Abundant Remembrance of Allah in All Circumstances

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A message has reached the program from one of the female listeners, who has coded her name with the letters (Z. A. M.). Our sister has a set of questions, among which is a question about the remembrance of Allah in all circumstances: Is that permissible? Or is it considered rudeness, as I have heard from some people?
Answer: It is prescribed to remember Allah in every state and wherever a person may be, except in places of filth, such as the bathroom and the like, where there is filth. A person should refrain until he leaves the place where he relieves himself. Allah the Exalted said:
(41) O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance (42) And exalt Him morning and afternoon.
[Al-Ahzab: 41-42], and He said: :
Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so - for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.
[Al-Ahzab: 35]. So the men and women who remember Allah abundantly are among the people of faith, and Allah has promised them forgiveness and a great reward. And He, the Exalted, said:
So remember Me, and I will remember youفَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ
[Al-Baqarah: 152]. And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: :
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah often that you may succeed.
[Al-Jumu'ah: 10]. And He, the Exalted, said:
(190) Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. (191) Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
[Al-Imran: 190-191], the verse.
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The ones who were ahead have outpaced the others. It was said: O Messenger of Allah! Who are the ones who were ahead? He said: The men and women who remember Allah abundantlyسبق المفردون، قيل: يا رسول الله!
, narrated by Muslim in his Sahih. And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said when a man asked him:
O Messenger of Allah! The laws of Islam have become numerous for me, so inform me of a comprehensive door by which I may hold fast? He said to him, peace and blessings be upon him: Let your tongue remain moist from the remembrance of Allahيا رسول الله!
...
Let not your tongue cease to be moist with the remembrance of Allah.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3375Hasan (Darussalam)
This is how it should be.
So rudeness lies in abandoning the remembrance, not in the remembrance itself. The one who is rude is the one who is heedless and turns away; that is the rude one. As for the one who is occupied with the remembrance of Allah, standing or sitting, in his home, in the mosque, on the road, and in every place, he is the one who has been granted success, and he is the one who has been guided. He is not the heedless one, and he is not the rude one. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah bless you, may Allah reward you with good.
