Clarification of the statement regarding the time of the Friday prayer and its ruling for women

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The same questioner from Iraq says: When is the time for the Friday prayer for men and women? And are there specific surahs designated to be recited on Friday? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.
Answer: The time for the Friday prayer begins after the sun passes its zenith; it is the time of the Dhuhr prayer. The time for Friday is the time of Dhuhr. A woman is not obligated to perform the Friday prayer; rather, she is obligated to perform Dhuhr. She prays Dhuhr, but if she prays Friday with the people, it suffices. If she prays two rak'ahs of Friday with the people, it suffices for her Dhuhr, just as a sick person who is unable to pray, or a traveler, if they pray with the residents and the healthy, the sick person prays with the healthy and endures the hardship, and it suffices for his Dhuhr. And if he prays alone, he prays Dhuhr. Likewise, if a traveler prays with the people, the Friday prayer suffices for his Dhuhr, and if he prays alone, he prays Dhuhr. Thus, a woman is not obligated to perform the Friday prayer, but if she prays with the men, it suffices for her Dhuhr.
Some scholars held that the time for Friday is broader, and that its time begins before Dhuhr, at six o'clock before the sun passes its zenith.
Others held that the time for Friday is broader than all of this, and that it begins when the sun rises the height of a spear until the time of Dhuhr ends. Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) and a group of the Salaf held this view, and they argued with good evidence. Whoever prays it before the sun passes its zenith, his prayer is valid, but it is better that it be after the sun passes its zenith, to avoid the disagreement of scholars and to act in accordance with all the evidence.
But a woman is not obligated to perform the Friday prayer, as mentioned earlier. Rather, she prays Dhuhr in her house, and that is better for her. And if she prays with the people in order to hear the sermon and the benefit, there is no harm; she prays Friday with them and it suffices for her, and praise be to Allah. Yes.
