Answer: You must continue in advising him and strive in that, and Allah is the One who guides whom He wills.
The Shaykh: Repeat his question. Repeat it. Repeat the question.
The presenter: I have a brother who does not pray and is not committed to the law of Allah, and I have advised him many times but he does not listen. Guide us on how to deal with him. May Allah reward you with good.
The Shaykh: You must advise him for the sake of Allah, and strive in that, and make clear to him what is obligatory upon the believer, and that prayer is an obligation and that it is the pillar of Islam, and that abandoning it is disbelief, so that perhaps he may respond. You and your brothers and your uncles. If he does not benefit and does not accept, then take his case to the Commission, or to the Emirate of the town if there is no Commission, so that they establish the matter against him, and so that he is called to repent. If he repents, otherwise he is killed. It is not permissible for him to remain, rather it is obligatory that he be called to repent, and if he repents, otherwise he is killed. The one who does not pray is killed; he is a disbeliever. We ask Allah for safety. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan Abi Dawud 4928Sahih (Al-Albani), and Allah says: [al-Tawbah: 5], so it indicates that the one who does not repent from abandoning prayer is not left alone, but is killed.
