The Difference Between the Counted Days and the Known Days

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner asks: What is the difference between the counted days and the known days?

Answer:
Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) distinguished the counted days, which are the days of Tashriq
And remember Allah during [specific] numbered days. Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon himوَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَنْ تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ
[al-Baqarah: 203]. These are three: the eleventh, the twelfth, and the thirteenth. These are the counted days.
And the known days are the ten days, along with the days of Tashriq.
And a group said: They are the ten days only.
And others said: They are the ten days along with all the days of Tashriq. They are all known days in which takbir is recited. The Muslims recite takbir in them from the beginning of the ten days until the setting of the sun on the thirteenth day
That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animalsلِيَشْهَدُوا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ عَلَى مَا رَزَقَهُمْ مِنْ بَهِيمَةِ الأَنْعَامِ
[al-Hajj: 28]. So they remember Allah in the known days from the beginning of the month to the end of the thirteenth day until the setting of the sun. They recite takbir for Allah and remember Him (Glorified and Exalted is He). So they are great, excellent days. Three of them are the counted days, which are the last three: the eleventh, the twelfth, and the thirteenth. They are the days of Mina and the days of stoning the pillars. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
