Ruling on fitting gold teeth for a man

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener, Ayyid Sa'eed al-Zuhaydi al-Juhani, sent a question saying: Some of my teeth have been damaged due to decay, and I went to the hospital to replace them with gold. Some friends told me that it is not permissible. Is what they said correct?

Answer:
If something other than gold is available, that is safer. If other metals are available, that is safer. If they are not available, it is permissible out of need. It is established that some of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bound their teeth with gold. This is a severe need that resembles dire necessity. So if the need calls for it, there is no blame. However, using teeth made of something other than gold, if that is available, is safer and more appropriate, and it is available, praise be to Allah.
As for women, their matter is broader; because gold is lawful for them. But a man should leave off gold teeth if something else is available. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
