Clarification regarding the man's authority over the woman

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it permissible to take this noble verse, in which Allah the Exalted said:
Men are in charge of womenالرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ
[Surah al-Nisa: 34], without its completion?
And what is the nature of the authority of the man over the woman, O honorable Shaykh?

Answer:
As Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) explained:
Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah hasالرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ
[Surah al-Nisa: 34],
and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealthوَبِمَا أَنفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ
[Surah al-Nisa: 34], due to the man's superiority over the woman, and what he spends of his wealth, and what he spends on her, giving her money and providing for her, he is the one who has authority over her. She is not permitted to leave his house except with his permission, and she is not permitted to disobey him in what Allah has made lawful. She must listen and obey in what is right. He is the one who has authority over her in guiding her, advising her, and granting her permission to go out, or withholding it, except in disobedience to Allah; for she is not permitted to obey him in disobedience, because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Obedience is in matters which are good and universally recognized.إنما الطاعة في المعروف
Sunan Abi Dawud 2625Sahih (Al-Albani)
A creature is not to be obeyed when it involves disobedience to the "Creator.”لا طاعة لمخلوق في معصية الخالق
Mishkat al-Masabih 3696
Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, O Shaykh.
